How the pricing works

One flat price per village

Your whole village is one monthly price — no per-seat fees, no metering the conversation. Vocabulary and features adapt to your organisation type.

25 members included — grows to 200

Every village starts with 25 members and can grow to 200 with add-ons. The cap is deliberate — communities hold together at a size where people can still know each other's names — and past 200, Federation joins villages together rather than diluting one.

Koha if price is a barrier

We never want cost to keep a community off sovereign ground. If the standard rate is a genuine barrier, talk to us about koha.

You choose where your Village lives — New Zealand and the European Union today, with Australia from 1 July (existing pilots can be migrated). No US-owned cloud sits anywhere in the chain — not the servers, not the storage, not the AI.

A US-operated cloud stays reachable by US authorities even when its servers sit in your own country. Ours are not. For privileged and regulated work, that is the difference.

Common Questions

What am I paying for?

Sovereign infrastructure in New Zealand and the EU, our own AI models running on our own hardware, encrypted communications, five fully-localised languages including te reo Māori, and ongoing development. Your subscription is the entire business model — no advertising, no data resale, no algorithmic manipulation.

Is the price per member?

No — one flat price per Village includes 25 members, with no per-seat fees. You are billed in the currency you select.

What if the price is hard for your community?

Between 2 and 10 members can split the subscription equally, so no one person carries the cost. If the standard rate is still a genuine barrier, talk to us about koha — a contribution set to what your community can give.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Add or remove capacity add-ons at any time, and switch between Village types with migration assistance.

How do we pay?

All major credit and debit cards via Airwallex (NZ) Limited — a New Zealand-licensed payment provider (FSP1001602; PCI DSS Level 1). No US-owned processor handles your transactions.

How do I get started?

Every new Village comes with a Setup Checklist you work through at your own pace, and the Learning Centre walks you through each feature with tutorials and knowledge checks. If you get stuck, contact us and a person will help.

What do we expect of Village owners?

Every Village needs at least one accredited moderator before it goes live — a two-stage accreditation covering privacy, content moderation, and platform operations, taking 2–3 hours at your own pace.

Your members trust you with their data and their conversations; the accreditation makes sure you understand that responsibility.

Where is my data stored?

In the jurisdiction you choose — OVHCloud (Strasbourg, EU) or Catalyst Cloud (Wellington, NZ) — with AES-256 encryption and full GDPR compliance. No US data residency at any point.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. Every Village includes full data export in open formats (JSON, Markdown) at any time — your data is always yours to take.
